Aloha and Welcome! (E Komo Mai)
Thank you for your membership interest in our Fort Shafter Hui. Why Hui? Hui means to unite, be a part of a team, do things together. All the things we want to be for our members!
We welcome Spouses of EVERY RANK! We are comprised of Spouses, Service Members and DOD Civilians (be it Active Duty, Retired or Guard/Reserve in the Fort Shafter, AMR, Tripler, Camp Smith and Southern Oahu communities).
The purpose of the Fort Shafter Hui is to enhance the quality of life in our community. We seek to create a sense of unity, develop leadership skills, promote goodwill while providing cultural, social, and creative pursuits through monthly functions and member led activity groups.
We organize social and recreational activities for our members while also supporting worthwhile community projects, charitable organizations and scholarships. Our welfare funds are raised from our Fort Shafter Thrift Shop (FSTS) as well as other fundraising activities.
We can't wait to see you soon.
